Dr. Flint is almost like a caricature villain. Flint is so brutal and evil, he is hard to believe. Flint is completely soulless through the power the slave trade has afforded him. He wants sex with Linda but wants her to submit rather than simply forcing himself on her. Flint wants the control; he wants her to humiliate herself. He is a creep!
