Flint and Sands are both slave masters, could you say about them two faces for one coin? Why? if not, why?

Yes, you might say they are two faces on a coin or two men cut from the same cloth, and yet, remember...... they are two different faces. Both men want Linda as their lover; one forces her, one seeks to break her will. Linda rebels against one and submits to another, thinking Sands more honorable than Flint (she believes he'll free their children out of a sense of obligation). Unfortunately, Linda is misled..... the man she believes will free her children (his also) doesn't do so. One man is no better that the other, but her affair with Sands is one of her own choice, and she feels justified (even though she knows it;s wrong) to be able to get back at Flint and to have free choice.
