What happened on the way to Minaki? chapter9-10

They basically froze.

-food, water wasn’t drinkable because it was too cold to swallow

-Four days into the trip, Saul and Naomi hit some rough water, and they’re were forced to swim away from the boat. They swam through the icy water and to get to dry land. Instead of traveling via a canoe, they had to walk which made the experience very slow and also tortuous.

-When they reached Minaki, they both took a moment of rest but his grandmother was dead and he was taken into a car.
