What happens in Chapter 33 that could change Saul’s life? What do you think he will do? Why?

Are you referring to the scout who visits the team to see Saul play? In my opinion, he will take the shot. It will likely be a difficult transition, but I don't think he will be able to pass it up, and I do not believe that his coaches or teammates will encourage him to stay.
