The novel is written in first-person perspective. The narrator is Saul Indian Horse, the protagonist and main character. To shift points of view would only work if the author meant the narrative to shift. I can't see any other point of view adding to the narrative. Certainly, Father Leboutilier doesn't really deserve to add anything considering what we find out about him. Despite his trauma, I think Saul is a pretty reliable narrator.
