In Chapter 15, we become privy to Mrs. McCandless' grief. It is impossible not to feel her pain or to feel great sympathy. It is also easy to see Chris as selfish, impetuous, and thoughtless. Chris, none-the-less, followed his heart to find something more.... we can only wish that he'd been more careful.
