Into the Wild
Analysis of what the reader sees as Krakauer’s bias and how the reader knows it to be bias.
How does he show his bias?
How does he show his bias?
Throughout the text, Krakauer never questions Chris’s actions. As readers, we question many of Chris' actions. Krakauer, however, seems to support them. Krakauer, for example, notes that Chris is extremely intelligent and often portrays him as a hero. He also notes the bad relationship Chris had with his father..... something that connected him to Chris, and something that many of us cannot relate to. As a reader, I don't find Krakauer's personal experience to be a barrier.... I find it enlightening.
