What subordinate questions does the book try and answer?
I believe that some of the main questions Krakauer asks us to ponder in the novel are very simple one..... things like do we have an obligation to the people who love us? Do we have the right to be completely selfish at the expense of all others? What causes a person to cast aside the values they've been raise with and embrace isolation? How far is too far? What causes logic to be replaced by ego?
