Who was Rob Hall? How does Krakauer describe his personality?

Rob Hall is Krakauer's guide, he leads Krakauer to the summit. Hall is an experienced climber who has "done" Everest many times before. He is cocky and is known for changing his game plan at a moments notice. He is also fiercely loyal.
