Why did Hall shift from his personal expeditions to founding an expedition company?

Hall knew that he couldn't make a living with sponsored climbs, so he and his partner, Gary Ball, founded Adventure Consultants.

Hall shifted from doing climbs on his own to starting a climbing company because he wanted to share his ability to climb with all the people around him. He wanted to guide less experienced climbers and help people through challenging climbs while making some money for himself. Thus allowing him to make a career out of his passion for climbing.
