Why did Kemp turn out differently than Griffin?After all they are both scientist.Is Kemp less isolated than griffin?

Dr. Kemp is more subdued and down to earth than Griffin. While he is not a genius of invention, his goals are not lofty and do not border on criminal. Kemp does not share Griffin's violent temper.
