Is Mr.Rochester entirely trustworthy?
Mr. Rochester is an interesting guy. He's not very good-looking, he makes Jane look like Scarlet Johansen. He's rude, abrupt, bossy, locks his wife in the attic and he even makes Jane cry. Ironically these are the traits that make him trustworthy. Mr. Rochester is real. He does't pretend to be anybody than he truly is. He is not a gallant and dashing young man who knows what to say to get what he wants. Mr. Rochester is a straight up old craggy man; that's a good thing!
mr rochester is not entirely trustworthy because he did not tell jane about his forced previous marriage before asking for her hand.
