helen burns believed in christian virtues. actually she belonged to a spectrum which believed that christian virtues are meant only for lower classs .her name itself implies something burning ,destruction, martyr.she anticipates contentment with god and a reunion with jane in heaven .this ideology is rejected by jane. christian virtues have been questioned several times in the novel.
