Yes, I wish I had the book with me, but I don't..... Sam Adams knew that America's freedom would have to be won with violence, therefore, any violence that came about because of the Boston Tea Party, or in response to the Intolerable Acts followed suit with those beliefs.
At the Continental Congress, we see a weary Adams promising to "make war not peace." He's ready for rebellion, and the Tea Party got it started.
