What is the attitude of A Description of the Morning?

The author's attitude is critical of big cities and the people who live in them. I think there is a steady theme of people being criminal or lazy. Young apprentices try to make their work to look clean instead of being clean and schoolboys waste their education by playing around. The moral fabric of the city seems to be in a state of slow decay.
