what happen in chapter 23?

-Hans finally finds water.

- They descend two thousand feet and hear the sound of a subterranean river.

-Hans finally takes a pick axe to a wall where they hear the river behind.

-Finally they get a stream of water shooting out of the granite wall.

-Unfortunately the water was scalding hot.

-They find a chalybeate spring and although warm, the water brings them life.

-They decide to continue their mission using the stream of water as their guide.
