I was always sympathetic towards Caesar. Really all the conspirators, excluding Brutus, had selfish motives. Caesar might have been a tyrant but at lest he was honest about whom he was and what he did. The conspirators were ready to kill each other when the power vacuum, after Caesar's death, hit.
