What might have happened if Brutus and Cassius had refused to let Antony speak to the crowd?
Simple answer please
I think it was a mistake, from Brutus's view, to let Antony speak. Brutus was a good orator but had nothing on Antony. Brutus thought he could quell the crowd with his words but Antony as able to turn Brutus's own speech against him. I think that Brutus would have been much better off had he refused to let Antony speak.
