Why does Brutus feel that there is no need for the conspirators to take an oath? What does this
reveal about his character?
Brutus believes that if everyone's intentions are true and honorable there isn't a reason to swear an oath. He feels that their plans are a result of careful thought and a collective desire that murder be done for the good of Rome. His fellow conspirators should be bound by what's right rather than an oath.
