Caesar's assassins are all saying that they love Caesar while at the same time they're killing Caesar. How is it possible for them to murder their leader while at the same time loving their leader?

They claim that they love him because Caesar made Rome great. They kill him because they think he has too much power. They think Rome is better off as a republic. Some of the conspirators are really concerned with their own greed.
