Act III Scene i

In Act III, Scene 1, Lines 227-243, Shakespeare includes the tense exchanges among Brutus, Cassius, and Mark Antony immediately following the murder of Caesar. The dialogue between Brutus and Cassius reveals Cassius's deep distrust for Antony's motives and his fear of the consequences of allowing Antony to speak publicly about Caesar at his funeral.

Why did Shakespeare choose to include Cassius's warning to Brutus in this scene?

I think this highlights the idea that the conspirators are not on the same page. There will be a power vacuum after Caesar's dead.
