How does each of the men respond when Brutus asked them to kill him (Clitus, Dardanius, Voluminus"
Clitus tells Brutus that he would not kill him for all the world.... that he would rather kill himself. Dardanius' answer is much the same.
"What, I, my lord? No, not for all the world."
"I’ll rather kill myself."
Volumnius tells Brutus that the request he has made is no job for a friend.
That’s not an office for a friend, my lord.
