Julius Caesar

Do you think the commoners are afraid of Marullus and flavius, or are they mocking them? Why are the commoners' views important?

The commoner's views are important because they are the majority. The celebratory mood in the city isn't one of fear, and the commoners are not mocking the tribunes. None-the-less, the people are ashamed after being chastised by the two men and go back to their occupations.
