Shakespeare
Shakespeare
Caesar disregards Calpurnia's fears because his ambition is greater than her portents of the future. Caesar is superstitious to a point, but he can't afford to be that superstitious. Caesar is a leader and commander first and foremost, and he cannot be dissuaded from "one more battle" by a woman, even if she is his wife.
