Flavius's speech causes the commoners to be ashamed of celebrating Caesar's victory. In his final speech, we learn that his worry and attitude (prevalent to a number of Roman nobles) was directly related to the fact they believed Caesar was too full of himself..... that he might attempt to take complete control.
