Kate Chopin's Short Stories

How does Leonce feel when Robert returns home?

The answer is suppose to be in chapter 3. I can't find it.

I think you have the wrong chapter, but none-the-less, Leonce is far more worried that his wife will neglect her social duties than Robert's return. Edna is a symbol rather than a wife; she has to dress properly, attend necessary gatherings, and take care of the family. He has no problem with her actions, or Robert, unless it interferes with those expectations.
