To what extent does the lady reffer what she think to herself 'Free! Body and Soul!'?

This is a feminist story, especially for the time. The societal understanding of marriage was the sense of ownership of the woman by the man. Men held all the cards so to speak. They had all the economic and social power to dictate a marriage as they wanted. Interestingly Louise wasn't hard done by. Her husband didn't "oppress" her but Louise feels that the very nature of marriage is oppressive. Louise feels that marriage doesn't allow an individual to breath and grow.When Louise finds out about her husband her senses, all of a sudden, become acute. She feels free. Her body is now hers rather than under the constraints of some sharing agreement.
