can we blame him for his villianary or can we feel sorry for him and why
Shakespeare allows the audience to feel a certain sympathy to Edmund. Edmund is bitter illegitimate child who is plainly honest about his bitterness and his longing to do better than legitimate and rather nasty brother Edgar.
