Q3: Do you think that King Lear behaved the right way when he divided the kingdom between his two daughter and why?

First, cutting Cordelia out was a huge mistake.... the mistake of a prideful, aging man, who misconstues the meaning of her words. Second, Lear doesn't consider the conflict that will arise between his two daughters, the fact that will will expect to truly take control, or the fact that they will, in essence, render gim powerless.
