Quién es el narrador

Carlos is the protagonist and narrator of the novel. It is about a man who remembers and recounts a particular year of his childhood in which he fell in love with the mother of one of his friends. Carlos appears as a good and educated child who adults see as a pervert or deviant for having fallen in love with an adult woman. In the novel, Carlos recounts this episode of his life and everything that happened, both in Mexico and within his family, at that time.
