What is the attitude of the Indians, as evidenced by Magua, towards the British?

Magua wishes to hurt the British, and does so by taking his revenge the best way he knows how....... kidnapping the Colonel's daughters. Feeling of anger toward the British for their actions and humiliation bring a desire for retribution.
