does arthur remind you of any other romance heros?

Romantic heroes like King Arthur are pretty hard to come by..... his legend lives on, and his story is told in a multitude of ways. Arthur is not an epic hero, thus, off the top of my head, I'm going to go with the character of Hawkeye from the Last of the Mohicans.
