whats the central theme of Morte d' Authur involves

There are a number of themes that might be named as "central" to Le Morte d'Arthur, but I think the theme of honor is most significant. There is war, love, and wit throughout, but above all it is honor before lady, lord, and especially God that drives the characters' action.
