There are too many coincidences for the other castaway to be actually another castaway. List the logical reasons why it is unlikely that this person is another castaway.

I think if you are forced to take a purely analytical view of the story, you might question how so many animals make it on a lifeboat and survive with a small boy for some time. That, however, would be missing the point of the book.
