Throughout the novel Pi seems to thoroughly believe that God does exist. Would you say that a person can be both religious and scientific in harmony? Or are they two separate realms that cannot co-exist within an individual?

God and science can easily coexist if one's intent is to gain knowledge rather then disprove. There are many scientists who also believe in God.
