Which story do YOU think is true? Do you feel you have been personally tricked by Pi or by Martel? Does the trick affect how you see Pi or how you feel about the book ?

This question calls for your opinion, there is no right or wrong answer. I believe Pi's initial story because it depicts Pi's memory of the incident..... it was the way he remembered his experience. His story wasn't meant to deceive.... it was meant to explain.
