Little Brother

• Marcus notes that he’s done all this to his dad when referring to the chaos that has happened in SF. He doesn’t seem to care about the trouble he’s caused the city and its citizens, just that which he’s caused his father. What do we learn about Marcus

You didn't finish your question but I think you are referring to Marcus's development as a character. Marcus seems more empathetic towards his family. Even though Marcus was fighting the state, he seems a little self-absorbed. Little is said about what his parents might be going through as a result of his actions. It is only near the end of the book when Marcus seems to realize that his rebellion exact consequences on those closest to him like his father.
