I'm not sure if our page numbers match but in chapter 6, new security cameras have been installed in every classroom. Students whose parents won't give permission for the cameras are to be taught in camera free classrooms. Marcus tries to make the point in class that the cameras won't make them any safer, but is cut off by his teacher.
