Chapter 7

From the text:

"Where we lived out in the bush there was nuting but us and the snakes. I did not see anyone but your nonno for six months. It was so hot, Jozzie, that i would wash myself and two minutes later I would need to wash again, but i couldn't because we could not waste water. There was no air conditioning then. No tiles on the floor to keep the house cool. No room i could go to, to cool down. The house was a shack. One room and a dirty floor."
