How is Josie first portrayed in the film? What are some of the issues presented that are confronting Josie?

Okay, although films can completely ruin a good book I took a look at a clip of the film and she seems pretty straight forward. This isn't my favourite book but I suppose if your'e a girl not into vampire novels, this might do. Josie has the normal teenage girl angst combined with her immigrant in Australia problems plus a dash of father issues. Josie is feisty and headstrong. If you add all this together the film pretty much looks like the book.
