4. Describe the mood at the ending of the chapter 6

Ralph feels his power slipping into an abyss. Jack constantly challenges him at each point of the beast hunting expatiation. Ralph sees that the signal fire is out. His order to proceed is met with recrimination and argument from the other boys. Jack sees Ralph faltering. The mood is bitter, chaotic and restless. This is just the way Jack wants it.
