during the meeting, jack says a response to ralphs comment. what did jack say and why was ralph shocked.

After Ralph lists out the things the boys should be doing, somebody blurts out "too many things". Then Jack asks for a re-vote over who should be chief. Although the boys initially are afraid to vote again, most end up leaving Ralph to join Jack.
