Ok I know this is a lot, my computer has stopped working and I have lost all my files. I am currently at my night shift job, this is due an hour after I arrive back home from work. Any and all help is much appreciated, even if you cannot answer all the questions any answered is really helpful.

Describe what has happened to the
boys, the plane and the rest of the world.

The boys are being evacuated from an English military school. Their plane is shot down and they crash near an uninhabited tropical island. We can assume it is around WW2. There are no adult survivors.
