Describe the fire on the mountain, from its beginning to the chapter's end.
Chapter 2
Chapter 2
Ralph says that the boys need a signal fire going all the time. This excites the boys and they end up building an out of control inferno at the top of the small mountain. The boys take Piggy's glasses and start a small spark. Jack compels the boys to keep feeding the fire until it turns into an inferno. Golding personifies the fire as a living-breathing animal that the boys cannot control.
