Is there a way you can help me with MLA Format?

I'm going to give you a site that I recommend to students. Look for the examples and copy the format with whatever you are using. If you still have trouble, let me know. Follow the source-link below.

This is nothing like what I do in class. I need two sentences of MLA without original quotations. I then have to make it into my own sentence. Putting the quotations in correct places, and putting it into MLA Format the way it should be.

Example: "BLAH BLAH BLAH" (Golding 72).

So, do you mean that you are paraphrasing a sentence?

Directions:Put the following in correct MLA Format.

--The ellipses(...) is used to show you have cut out words from the original quote.

--When quoting something already in quotes in the text, use a single quotation mark to indicate that it was quoted material.

--Every time you being to quote material, you must begin and end with double quotation marks.

--No puncuation should occur inside the quotation marks unless the original quoted material ends in an exclamation point or in a question mark.

--Always include end puncuation(a period) outside the parenthesis.

"I know you think this is just about dying," he said.(Albom pg. 104).

What is wrong about this one? Correct or incorrect?
