In chapter 3, what does "good" mean in the phrase, " this is a good island"

The island is thought to be a "good" island because it looks like a fantasy playground: it is their Eden. They desperately want to feel safe and secure so Ralph keeps repeating that it is "good". The irony is that it is the boys themselves, which have brought evil to this island.
