What has changed because of Jack's departure?

Everything changes in the section, the order that Ralph and Piggy had striven for began to break apart. The young boys are hungry, they want food, and Jack is the person who supplies food. Ralph is losing his position as leader, and the majority of the boys look to satisfying their needs.
