What is simons theory about the beast? How well does he express it and how do the others react?

Simon thinks on a whole different level than all the other boys. Even Ralph and Piggy can't think that metaphorically or abstractly. Simon claims the beast is only inside of themselves. THe others of course merely laugh at what they do not understand.
