Why does Milton evoke the muse of the sacred well?
we know the 9 muse. but why does Milton mention them?

The "sacred well", the well to which the sisters belong, refers to either Aganippe or Hippocrene, two springs that, in Greek mythology, were presumed to be the dwelling places of the muses on Mount Helicon.
