Macbeth

Act V scene I

The doctor says of Lady Macbeth, “ More needs she the divine than the physician.” What does he mean by this? Answer in a short essay that explains the difference between the “divine” and the “physician” and relates that difference to Lady Macbeth.

I can't give you an essay but I can explain. L. Macbeth is mentally unstable by this stage of the play. Medievel medicine didn't do to well with mental health issues. The doctor is smart enough to figure out that L. Macbeth is babbling out some serious confessions that a priest or God can help her with rather than him.
